DISCOVER THE CARNIVAL OF NICE

This year is special because the Nice carnival celebrates its 150th anniversary!

French and our European friends await this event every year whose theme in 2023 is “Treasures of the World”.

Because it is the biggest winter event and it is especially recognized as the number 1 Carnival of France!

The inevitable big heads, the decorated tanks, the inimitable battles of flowers … All in excess, music and colors!

The confetti twirls in the wind, the colors are everywhere, even in the mimosas in bloom.

These two weeks from February 10 to 26 will be placed under the signs of joy, laughter, moments shared with family and friends.

The magic works as much for children as for adults, all find themselves in this wonderful world.

Gluttony is also part of this festival that is the Carnival of Nice. Donuts and ganses to enjoy in the stands and in the streets socca, small stuffed, pissaladière. Everyone is enjoying themselves!

The last parade, and the most symbolic, ends with the cremation of the King who will be reborn at the next carnival. Like a Phoenix!  It is also, according to a custom in Nice, the end of winter and the arrival of spring.

Joy is in full swing on the Côte d’Azur and opens the way for many animations and festivals to the rhythm of the seasons.
